Santos Flores comes to Sherman Middle from Neblett Elementary, where he served SISD students and staff as principal since 2020. 

While Flores has worked in elementary campus leadership since 2010, he is no stranger to education at the secondary level. He began his career as a math teacher at the high school level for five years and middle school level for six years before becoming a campus administrator. He is a former middle school mentor teacher, team leader, and Teacher of the Year. In all, Flores has nearly 25 years of experience in education.

Flores earned his master’s degree in education administration from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and his bachelor’s degree from Texas State University. He lives in Sherman with his wife, Alejandra, and two sons, Andres and Sebastian, who are students in Sherman ISD schools.
